Why Choose Noah's Ark Preschool For Your Child?
Our Classes:
Nursery: Care is provided for infants and toddlers beginning at 6 weeks of age. With a ratio of one adult to every four infants, our staff can give excellent care and maintain careful records of feeding, changing, and sleeping schedules.
Toddlers: Special attention is given to large and small motor skill development, potty training, and social learning experiences. Activities include: Development of large and small motor skills, Bible lessons, games, stories, crafts and singing. Plenty of playtime and a nap are also a part of the daily schedule.
Twos & Threes: These progressive groups are ready for some preschool basics. Units of study are covered throughout the year to add to the experiences and learning processes. Activities include Bible lessons, special art projects, singing, games, stories, and an introduction to letters, numbers, and colors.
K Fours: As these children prepare for kindergarten, special emphasis is placed upon Reading and Math Readiness Skills. The class is introduced to many fun learning experiences while continuing to develop a love for God and His Word, strengthening social skills, and further developing large and small motor skills.
Our Staff:
Our staff is very carefully selected because we feel that they are the key to your child's well being while at the center. Each teacher is a Christian, committed to serving Christ in their own personal life. Continuing education is an important part of staff development and we attend seminars, workshops, and training classes regularly. Child care training includes first aid, CPR training, recognition of communicable diseases, and many other important topics. Noah's Ark also has employee training and policies on child abuse.
Parent-Staff Relations:
Our staff values the relationship we hold with the parents of the children placed in our care and are always available to meet with you to discuss the needs and growth of your child. The teachers enjoy creating an atmosphere of love and acceptance for each child and strive to make their daily experiences fun and productive. They love children and are skilled in the management and training of girls and boys.
Our Goals:
To provide a place of safety and loving security in an educational environment that honors God.
To encourage your child to learn to work and play well with others and cheerfully follow instructions.
To perform simple self-help tasks while developing large and small motor skills.
To foster reading and number readiness in a joyful atmosphere.
